Abstract: With the integration of computer, network technology, and automation technology, a cold box coremaking production system has been developed so that a networked coremaking shop has been realized. The networked coremaking shop consists of 3 different levels: automatic production system, computer network, and network management software. Automatic production system is the basic level of the networked core shop and computer network is the connection level between production system and management software. Based on automatic production system and computer network, the network management software, which is the key part of the networked core shop, controls and optimizes the production of the whole shop. Its main functions are automatic collection of production data, corebox technological parameter management, on-line production monitoring, and production data analysis and evaluation.
